How does Canva's AI infographic generator work?

Canva's route to an AI infographic runs through Magic Design. You type a prompt, such as "infographic on the benefits of remote work", and Canva generates several designed layouts. Each comes with colors, fonts, imagery and text placement. You pick one and finish it in Canva's editor.

How does Infogiph work?

Infogiph starts from structure. You describe a topic, attach an image such as a whiteboard photo, or paste long text into Text to Visuals. In about 5–15 seconds you get an animated, editable diagram: a central subject, its key points, icons and connections. Labels that name real products get their logos.

How does animation compare?

In Canva, you animate a design yourself. You choose page or element animations and control the timing. That's flexible, but each infographic needs its own animation pass.

In Infogiph, motion comes with the diagram. Dots, beams, pulses or arrows travel along the connections to show direction and order. It's fast and consistent, but it's one kind of motion. Canva has a free plan and paid plans, and its pricing page lists current prices. On Canva Free you can download MP4 and GIF, but SVG isn't included (as of September 2026).
